Keeping Classic Stoves Alive Since 1949 – Lloyd’s Appliance Experts

For over 75 years, Lloyd’s Appliance’s has proudly specialized in the restoration, service, parts (both custom and stock), and sales of antique and classic gas stoves, ovens, and ranges dating from 1900 to 1975.
We are a fourth-generation, family-owned business with deep roots in the appliance industry. Our story began in the early 1920s when our grandfather delivered furniture and appliances throughout the Hollywood area. His son, H.E. Lloyd, joined the business as a young man while attending Fairfax High School. In 1932, he joined the American Stove Company, rising to become Vice President of West Coast Sales. After serving in World War II, H.E. Lloyd returned home and founded Lloyd’s Appliances, laying the foundation for a trusted legacy that continues today. His sons carried the torch, and now the next generation—including his nephew—continues to uphold the family tradition of craftsmanship, dedication, and excellence.

We often echo our father’s words, which have guided us through generations:

“If man made it, man can fix it.”

With decades of hands-on experience, we’ve been perfecting our craft longer than most of the stoves we work on. From fully restored, museum-quality appliances to customized, everyday-use restorations, we bring historical charm and function back to life.
